      Summary: Naa Bhoomi uses your location solely to fetch land survey records. No personal data is stored, sold, or shared. Data is sourced from public government records via ArcGIS.
    

1. Information We Collect

Naa Bhoomi collects only the minimum information needed to provide land measurement services:

Location Data: Your device's GPS coordinates are used in real-time to identify the land parcel you are standing on and to fetch the corresponding survey records. Location data is processed on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Search Queries: Location searches are sent to OpenStreetMap Nominatim for geocoding. Recent searches may be cached locally on your device for offline use.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your location coordinates are used exclusively to:

Center the map on your current position
Measure land plot areas using GPS walk-tracking
Query survey boundary records from the Telangana government's public ArcGIS service

3. Data Sources

All land survey and cadastral data displayed in the app is sourced from publicly available government records:

Telangana ArcGIS Server — Survey numbers, parcel boundaries, village and mandal information
ISRO Bhuvan WMS — Satellite imagery and cadastral map overlays
data.gov.in — Agricultural commodity (mandi) prices

4. Data Storage

Saved plot measurements are stored locally on your device using your browser's local storage. No personal data, measurements, or usage information is transmitted to or stored on any external server controlled by Naa Bhoomi.

Users can delete all locally stored data at any time by clearing the app cache or using the "Clear All Data" option within the app's info panel.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share any user data with third parties. The only external network requests made by the app are to the public government data sources listed above and to OpenStreetMap for location search.

6. Permissions

The app requests the following device permissions:

Location (GPS): Required for map positioning and walk-mode land measurement. Precise location data may be accessed in the background only while a measurement session is active to ensure accuracy while the user walks the boundary.
Microphone: Optional, used only for voice search (Telugu and English)

You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

This app is intended for agricultural land measurement and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
